I love Japanese cuisine. Whenever I travel in Asia, I always find myself craving some good Japanese food. I’d love to share my top 3 favourite Japanese izakayas in Chengdu.
私は日本料理の大ファンです。今回は、成都の居酒屋スタイルの料理屋さんを3軒ご紹介したいと思います
山之屋
The signature dish is soup curry, and it delivers a genuinely authentic flavour! The rice and sake are both absolutely lovely. The owner is Japanese and is often present in the restaurant.
The surrounding area is known as “Da Shijie” (大世界), a neighbourhood with a great many Japanese and Korean restaurants and bars.
看板メニューはスープカレー 本格的な味が楽しめます！お米もお酒もとても美味しいです。店主は日本人の方で、よくお店にいらっしゃいます
お店の周辺は「大世界」というエリアで、多くの日系・韓国系のレストランやバーがあります
膾膾料理・祥和里店
This place prides itself on its fresh sashimi. It’s advisable to book a table. The only slight disappointments are that the soy sauce is rather ordinary and the selection of drinks is on the limited side. The owner has a good knowledge of fish.
The restaurant is situated in a food street area near the Chengdu Television Tower, making an after-dinner stroll well worth it. It’s also convenient for Mixc World (万象城), a upmarket shopping district.
新鮮なお刺身が自慢のお店です。数日前の予約をおすすめします。少し残念なのは、醤油が普通のものであることと、お酒の種類が少ないことでしょうか。魚についてよく知っている店主がいらっしゃいます
お店の周辺はグルメ街で、成都テレビ塔があり、食後の散歩もおすすめです。万象城（高級ショッピングエリア）からも近いです
天丼王・和食料理・太古里店
The top recommendation here is the sukiyaki! It’s not as sweet as the Kantō style, and personally I find I actually prefer it this way. To be honest, overall I felt the quality was slightly below that of the previous two restaurants.
The restaurant is located within Taikoo Li (太古里), an upmarket shopping area.
一番のおすすめはすき焼きです！関東風ほど甘くなく、私はむしろこちらの方が好きです。正直に言うと、全体的には、前の2軒の方がクオリティが高いように感じました。店主も日本人の方です 以前、お正月に訪れた際には、店主が作った筑前煮をいただきました。本当に美味しくて、感動しました
お店の周辺は太古里（高級ショッピングエリア）です
